Welcome! We are Bob & Darlene Taylor of Firstfruits Farm. Our little slice of heaven has been carved out of the northwoods forest of Michigan's pristine Upper Peninsula, just north of the Wisconsin border. We began raising Oberhasli Dairy Goats in 2003 when we purchased our first three milkers from the renowned Meadowsong herd in Wisconsin. As of today, we house fourteen milkers, two doelings and five handsome, quality bucks.
We are committed to breeding quality, productive animals with correct body type, dairyness, and confirmation.
But...why Oberhasli? We chose this breed out of all the other dairy breeds because of two very important qualities: Their calm and sweet disposition and their great tasting milk!
